Voice that sounds like voice

Echo cancellation, noise suppression, automatic gain, and an 80 Hz high-pass to cut rumble. Voice-activation with a sensitivity slider, or push-to-talk with a key you choose and a release delay you tune from 0 to 2 seconds. A floating PTT button on mobile. Input, output and shared-media volume each go to 200%. A mic test that loops your own voice back so you can hear what everyone else hears.

Video and screen share

Three screen-share modes: Smooth for motion and gameplay, Sharp for reading code and documents, and Auto, which aims for 60 fps in a small call and steps down gracefully as the room fills. Record your own calls, locally

Record audio-only or a composed video of the session — up to 120 minutes of audio or 60 minutes of video, straight to your own disk. Pause and resume mid-recording. Nothing is uploaded, and there is no server-side copy, because there is no server-side copy to make.

Real roles and real permissions
